FORT WAYNE, Ind., Nov. 6, 2008 - ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) today announced that John Greenhalgh has been named director of Middle East/Africa operations for the International Products and Services business area that is part of ITT Communications Systems in Fort Wayne, Ind. In this capacity, he will be responsible for all Business Development, Programme Management and Profit and Loss activities in the Middle East/Africa.
Greenhalgh most recently served as the head of business development with ITT Defence Limited in Basingstoke, United Kingdom, and had been in that position since January 2005. Prior to joining ITT, he served in the British Army including assignments as the director of development for Army Aviation, director of United Kingdom Military Helicopter Operations, senior liaison officer to the United States Army, and commanding officer for Third Regiment Army Air Corps.
